Payments for high-risk businesses

Payment processing built around your risk profile.

Vinna is payment processing for high-risk merchants: the businesses mainstream processors decline, freeze, or overprice. We build the setup around your risk profile from day one.

All accounts are subject to underwriting, approval, terms, and service availability.

Where processing breaks down

One-size underwriting fails high-risk businesses.

Your product, website, transaction history, and sales model all shape your account. A one-size review can miss the details that matter later.

01 Underwriting without context

A thin application can leave an underwriter guessing about your products, fulfillment, and customer journey.

Business details need a clear story
02 Restrictions appear late

Volume limits, product restrictions, and operating conditions can disrupt sales when nobody explains them before launch.

Know the operating terms
03 Reserve and funding surprises

Reserve structure and settlement timing affect cash flow. You need those terms in plain language before you commit.

Plan around the actual terms
04 Fraud and chargeback pressure

Disputes and fraud signals need operating controls that match your customer journey and transaction profile.

Build controls into the flow
05 Support handoffs

A payment issue gets harder when sales, underwriting, and support each send you somewhere else for an answer.

Focused industries

Industries we already know how to review.

Each application receives case-by-case review. Industry fit does not mean an application will receive approval or service availability.

01

Research-use supply

For eligible suppliers whose products, website claims, fulfillment practices, and controls support a research-use-only business model.

02

E-commerce

For online sellers whose product mix, marketing, fulfillment, and transaction profile require more context.

03

CBD & Hemp Products

Eligible CBD and hemp applicants should be ready to document product sourcing, testing, labels, marketing claims, and sales jurisdictions.

04

Tobacco Products

Eligible tobacco applicants should be ready to document applicable licenses, product categories, age-verification controls, and sales jurisdictions.

Account process

Four stages. You always know the next one.

Timelines vary by business and provider. We keep each stage concrete so you know what is needed and who owns the next step.

  1. 01

    Share business details

Tell us what you sell, how customers buy, and what your processing history looks like.

  2. 02

    Prepare documents

Gather ownership, banking, fulfillment, policies, and other records required for your review.

  3. 03

    Submit for underwriting

The provider evaluates eligibility, risk, terms, and any follow-up requirements.

  4. 04

    Integrate after approval

Connect the approved account and gateway, test the flow, and prepare your team for launch.

Account transparency

Know your terms before you build on them.

Your final terms come from the approved provider agreement. Vinna helps you identify the operating details that deserve a close read.

Common questions

Straight answers before you apply.

Complex accounts need direct answers. These are the questions we hear at the start of a review.

Does Vinna approve every account?

No. A provider reviews each account and sets the final eligibility, pricing, reserve, volume, and operating terms.

Can you work with RUO suppliers?

Vinna can review eligible research-use suppliers. The review covers products, website content, claims, policies, fulfillment, and the full business model. A research-use-only label does not guarantee eligibility.

Which documents will I need?

Requirements vary. A review can include formation and ownership records, banking information, processing statements, supplier or fulfillment details, customer policies, and product documentation.

Can you review my current account?

Yes. Share your current setup, recent processing history, account concerns, and provider terms. We can discuss whether another review makes sense.

How long does underwriting take?

Timing depends on your business, document readiness, follow-up questions, and provider review. Vinna does not promise a fixed approval timeline.

Contact sales

Tell us what you sell. We’ll tell you what the review takes.

Share the basics. A Vinna specialist can review the fit and explain what the next stage may require.
